About John Ritchie
John Ritchie (1853-1930) was a full-time evangelist and
Bible teacher in Scotland, Wales, and England. Ritchie
authored as many as 200 books, among them
Feasts of
Jehovah, From Egypt to Canaan
, and Tabernacle in the
Wilderness
. Baptist Standard [John Ritchie's] ministry was
primarily pastoral and was especially effective among
new Christians for whose special benefit the reprint of
Feasts of Jehovah was originally intended. . . highly
typological and very devotional in nature. He was also
the editor of The Believer's Magazine for more than
thirty-five years and author of 500 Children's Sermon
Outlines, 500 Evangelistic Sermon Outlines, 500 Gospel
Sermon Outlines, and 500 Sermon Outlines on Basic
Bible Truths.
