Receiving Salvation
To own a Christian website and neglect the most important issue and, or event in life, would require a
great deal of negligence and lack of responsibility on my part. So I feel compelled, no, obligated to
include the most important issue in all of life and creation concerning mankind.

First I would like to address a question of much debate that seems to be drawing so much attention
today. This Question has been asked for 2,000 years. Is Jesus the only way to heaven? The irrefutable
proof is in the scriptures. The Bible is divine in nature containing a multi purpose. But I only want to
address one: the revelation of the Lord Savior and sacrifice for sin. Grace means that sin is not held
against the sinner (undeserved favor). Such forgiveness is dependent on a payment of sin's penalty to
satisfy holy justice. That requires a substitute - the only one who qualified was Jesus. If we commit a
crime, punishable by the death penalty in a court of law, and found guilty, we will suffer the
consequence. That is where man is found in his sin, but a sinless person received our punishment in
our place. To think that Jesus is NOT the only way to heaven is like saying you can get to heaven
without God. The God head is three in one - the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. We are created in the image
of God- Body/flesh, spirit & soul. John put it this way. " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God" (Jn:1).  John went on to say
that the word became flesh and dwelt among us. The word being Jesus the Christ.  The proof is in "the
Word"

This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief  cornerstone.’ Nor is
there salvation in any other, for
there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we
must be saved
(Acts 4:11-12)

Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.  And he brought them out
and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household
(Acts 16:
29-310)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life
(Jn 3:16)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(Jn 14:6)

He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made
Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the
testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is
in His Son.    He who has the Son has life; he
who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in
the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to
believe in the name of the Son of God
.
(1 Jn 5:10-13)

How does someone receive salvation? As simple as the question, you receive it because it's a gift. Did
you know that Christianity is the only religion that your salvation does not rely on works? If you can
even call Christianity a religion. Actually, Christianity is all about your personal relationship with God.
God made us for fellowship with himself and God provides a way into the kingdom of heaven.

Imagine you had a fine for $10,000 because the police caught you driving 90 mph through a school
zone for blind children. When the judge is about to pass judgment someone pays your fine for you.
That is what God has done for us. He sent His son to pay our penalty of our sin ... which is death. You
might think you are a good person, but our deeds are as filthy rags to God. Think about it...... have
you ever told a lie, even a little one? Have you ever stolen a piece of candy as a child? Have you ever
taken the Lord's name in vain? That would make you a lying, thieving, blasphemer and by the judgment
of a just God you will be sentenced to hell on the day of judgment. And that's only 3 of the 10
commandments. But God in His love for us provided reconciliation to Him.Take a look at a few
scripture's listed below.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Ro 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Ro 6:23)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(Ro 5:8) ....He paid our penalty

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may
come from the presence of the Lord
(Act 3:19)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of
works, lest anyone should boast.
(Eph 2:8-9)

Eternal life and deliverance from the tormenting bondages of sin are as simple as taking a gift. Because
that is what it is, a gift from God. It is as easy as reading the following prayer below. And if you're
reading this today or you can understand how the bondages of sin can torment your life, then this has
not reached you by accident.
Romans 10 says ,"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God
has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will
not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich
to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
 (Ro 10:9-13)
