Mystery Babylon! I am not 100% sure if it must be in a specific geographical location. It is possible the biblical reference
to mystery Babylon is metaphoric. Scholars have long debated the meaning and translation of the entire book of
Revelation. What I do know is the events unfolding today in todays world leaders, governments, foreign policies, weather,
global food shortage, sickness and disease point to the coming of Christ. I used to hear how the stage was being set for
end time events. A close observation is not in order to see that not only is the stage set but the pieces are in place and in
motion. We have witnessed the reunification of Europe as well as Russian, Iranian and Arab relations develop as foretold
in Ezk 38.
With World leaders in place such as Vladimir Putin, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong-il, Hugo Chavez, one can not
argue the fact that there is so much activity in the Middle East, Europe, Israel, China, Korea, Gaza, (Russia & Iran).... well,
the entire planet is overwhelmed with todays activities and what the future holds. And what appears to be an inevitable
liberal takeover of the USA looms on the horizon. The entire planet is sitting on a time bomb. I truly believe the next U.S.
elected president will be the end times president. The short comings and obvious deceptions of the charismatic Obama
are blindly overlooked by the majority and the young voters will have an unusuall presence at the polls this election in his
support.
And the crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed, has a gift of building a prosperous empire as well as uniting Western
and Arab customs into a viable working system. You can't help but like the guy and he has achieved all this in such a quite
manner. That's why he scares me.

Things to keep an eye on : Putin - now self appointed Prime Minister of Russia - Russian, Iranian and Arab alliance
- Obama - John Edwards and his involvement with Obama (I said he would eventually ride Obama's coat tails into vice
presidential power when he was still in the race) - Ahmadinejad and his aggression toward Israel - The crown prince
of Dubai - Tony Blair's middle east involvement - The extreme increase of natural disasters - The judgement of the
USA due to level of depravity in lust of worldly pleasures and the U.S. involvement in dividing the land of Israel - A
global food shortage - A recession and decline of USA economy.
The Bible says the church as the body of Christ is not appointed to wrath, but the Bible does not say we will escape
hard times. Friends, we are in the end times and we are beginning to see and experience the beginning of sorrows. I
believe we must prepare ourselves for the hard road ahead and the body of Christ (the Church) must come together
and unite as never before. We have always been good at helping others in times of need when disaster strikes. The
church is endowed with a charitable heart beyond comparison. I am not suggesting to turn a blind eye to the lost
and suffering, but I think it must be said that the churches attention needs to be turned inward. Helping and sending
aid to the secular population during a disaster while brother Bob at church has lost his home is inexcusable. Why do
we put forth so much effort in aiding non believer's (usually without sharing the gospel) and do not help our own
brethren in time of need. Now I must reiterate that I am not suggesting to harden your heart toward the world, but
in our charity toward the world we should not overlook our brethren. The priorities of the church needs to be put
into proper perspective. some scripture for thought
1 John 3:17,18 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from
him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
Acts 2:44-46 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them
to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did
eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
